Welcome to RoamRoo App! If you encounter any issues while using the app, please reach out to us or check our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) below:
A: On the app’s home screen, tap “Sign In.” You can choose to sign in with your Apple ID or Google account. If you prefer not to use those third-party options, you may also register with a new email and password. We recommend using an existing email address so that if you forget your password, you can tap “Forgot Password” and receive a verification link to reset it.
A: First, verify that you are signed in to the correct App Store account and that your payment method is up-to-date. If the issue persists, please take a screenshot of any error messages and send it to our email above. We will help you investigate and resolve the problem.
A: Navigate to the map screen and select a location that supports 3D models. Tap the “3D” button, and the model will load for you to explore. If it does not display, check your internet connection and try restarting the app.
A: Open RoamRoo App and tap “Regional Visa Eligibility Search.” In the search fields, enter your State, County, or Postcode. The system will automatically list whether that area qualifies for a 417 / 462 Working Holiday visa and highlight locations where you can get your visa stamped.
A: Tap the “Wage Tracker” feature and set your hourly rate. After each workday, open that feature and input the work date, hours worked, and any additional allowances or overtime. The app will automatically calculate and summarize your monthly and cumulative income, and display total workdays.
A: On the home screen, select “Pre-Departure Checklist.” The system will pre-populate essential items for a Working Holiday: flight tickets, travel insurance, visa documents, passport copy, international SIM card, power adapter, etc. Tap the checkbox next to each item to mark it as completed.
A: In the bottom menu, tap “Forklift Exam Question Bank.” The question bank screen will display all included practice questions, covering operational precautions, safety regulations, cargo handling procedures, and more. Tap any question to view its detailed answer and explanation.
A: In the bottom menu, tap the “Map” icon. If you have not yet subscribed, a prompt will appear. Tap “Subscribe NT$120 / Month” to go to the App Store payment page and complete your purchase. Once subscribed, you will immediately gain access to “Backpacker Hotspots” and “Local Recommendations” on the map.
Paid map features include:
• Backpacker Hotspots: The map shows farms, hostels, factories, restaurants, and other locations where backpackers are most active.
• Local Recommendations: Curated lists of local restaurants and attractions for planning short trips during your work breaks.
Note: This subscription fee is used solely for server and maintenance costs and does not include any agency or job-matching services.

A:
1. **Restart the App:** Double-click the Home button (or swipe up on devices without a Home button), swipe up on RoamRoo App to close it, then reopen.
2. **Update to the Latest Version:** Open the App Store → Search “RoamRoo” → Tap “Update” if available. We regularly release bug fixes and improvements, so keeping the app updated is recommended.
3. **Check Your Network Connection:** Some RoamRoo features require internet access (e.g., visa searches, map data, real-time weather). Ensure your cellular data or Wi-Fi is working properly. If you’re on a restricted network (e.g., school or corporate), try switching networks.
4. **Contact Support:** If the issue persists, please send screenshots or a screen recording, along with your device model, iOS version, and RoamRoo app version, to our support email: RonJiang9527@Gmail.com. We will respond as quickly as possible and may provide a TestFlight build for further troubleshooting.
The RoamRoo team is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive, up-to-date information for your Australian Working Holiday adventure. If you have any feature requests (e.g., adding more states for visa eligibility, improving income report functionality, updating question bank content), or if you find any translation or usability issues, please let us know at any time.
We also encourage you to “Share & Report” good job leads and local travel tips within the app to help others in the community. Together, we can build a robust, supportive network for backpackers.
